Default Bokeh

Finally got out to shoot again with the Nikkor 70-200. A couple of tight shots, zoom is at 200mm. It was very windy out. The VR was off on these shots.

A shot into the shore. The ice is finally giving way.

Nice. Long focal length plus fast lens is always fun. Try some scenery without a lot of straight lines.

Here is one from my Canon 70-200. We should have a Bokeh thread!!!

Nice EKhatch!! Makes me long for spring. It is cold here in Ohio right now. Another from today's cold trek, less clutter in the background.

The mountains are getting hammered but in the valley it just gets a 1-2" dusting and then melts off in a day or two. Pretty lame considering 10-12 years ago we got tons of snow in the valley on a semi regular basis.

yeah. Same story. We get a lot of cold. Not much snow. I wonder what it will be like in another 10-15 years? Our photos will show it

Yeah, hard to say what the weather is going to be like in another 10-15 years. Ironically it's snowing pretty hard right now. lol

Snowy weather+bokeh=nice even white background. If it's still snowing later I might go experiment.

If I didn't have all my gear packed for this trip, I'd pull out the Tamron 17-50 and get a pic wide open. I was surprised how nice the bokeh was on it.
