Yeah, it wasn't until I saw the post over at the sandbox that I realized that this was a true LeMons race, not just some We-Todd fun. Needless to say, Boxy will not be participating

Andy, do the cars have to have a cage? Can we fab one up ourselves? I've got a welder, no doubt I'm not the best at it. But if we can get away with that, LMK. Damn, I'm excited about this. What are the rules? Comp. license required? Details Andy... DETAILS!!! I've already got a certain car in mind too...

Geez read the damn links posted. $500 entrance fee per car, $100 per driver, $75 for non driving crew. Comp license required, or a $50 provisional license can be purchased on site. 5 point cage min (4 point rollbar + a door bar). etc there's full rules posted.

We just need a list of people who are interested.......anyone can drive and anyone can pit crew. Just costs money. To watch is 40.00. We need at least 6 people at 200.00 a person to enter
Cost per person for race car figure 50.00 to 100.00. We have Import Express as sponsor if we can get a group of 6 people together. We have to register a team May 26th deadline. Only people that will come July 26-27th need to post and put names down. Car i have so far is my Green LS Shell ready for parts....we would work on it on weekends that we could agree on or just let me and owen set it up with some help. I am sure we could get 2 We-Todd teams ..... 12 people This could be our We-todd 3.5 hahaha

You might want to end up thinking abit more than $200 a person. Brakes, tires, seat, cage, harness, fire ext. don't count towards the $500. Our car we bought for $385 (1992 integra gs with ~17x,ooo miles) we sold our interior and some other parts like the taillights, headlights, misc motors, a/c, and some other crap for close to $300. We made our intake out of 3 inch exhaust tubing from stock f450 tubing. We just ran our stock exhaust with the tail section removed. We bought 2 sets of tires (hankook rs2's in 14") $480 installed what we thought to be a 6 point autopower for a two door da (most likely for a 4door as the rear down tubes were way too long) for $320 I think and had to modify the crap out of it. 40 ft of 1 5/8tube for $110 hawk hp+ pads all around ~$100 front rotors $40 ate super blue dot5 fluid $10 The entry fees were the same and came out to $225 per person (125 car entry and 100 driver fee) We reused a seat and harness out of a team mates rally car as well. You have to remeber about the hotels, gas for getting there, a way to get the car there ect. Bring lots of extra oil, we started burning lots of it about 5 hours in and burned none before the race in that engine. Long periods of hard hard driving do things to engines. I'll post pics later of the before and after.
