timing belt question or questions for d15b
I just did a d15b swap and my timing belt is loose. I haven't driven it yet so since its loose I think Ill just go ahead and change it. I can practically just push it off of the cam gear. I know the cam has to be tdc but on the pulley below there are three marks and Im not sure which one has to be in the center of the little tooth looking thing. What timing belt should I buy for a d15b vtec? Also, I took the spark plugs out just because there probably old. I have new spark plugs lying around but there for my old d15b1 motor. The new motor has ngk r spark plugs. Should I stick to those or can I just use the ones I have lying around. I know its an obvious answer but just curious. The timing looks way off by the way, the cam is tdc when I took this picture.

Yeah I kind of figured that. My car starts and runs ok but Im sure it needs new spark plugs and a new belt.

The Honda part# for a JDM D15B VTEC motor timing belt is 14400-P08-004 (the same as a Civic VX 1.5).
The water pump part# is 19200-P08-004 and the tensioner part# is 14520-P2A-305. You might want to change them while your at it.
Spark plugs NGK ZFR6F-11, ZFR6J-11, or KJ20CR-L11. These are the ones I found while searching a few months ago.
