No Spark with my DPFI to MPFI 88 DX Civic w/ B16
Like the title says i have an 88 with an OBD0 B16A. I just accomplished the DPFI to MPFI harness change and hooked everything up correct and all grounds are connected. The motor gets fuel and will crank but wont start up.
Any Ideas ?
Sorry if there needs to be more info . . im kinda blank right now.

You checked all the plugs? I'm wondering about - distributor wiring, did the DPFI-MPFI conversion go well? Did you get MPFI working before putting a B16 in? I take it no..
Check all of your distributor wiring. Make sure you didn't expletive anything up.
Check the firing order if you haven't already, simple process of elimination here.
Pull the plugs and see if they look okay if you're just installing the motor.
Try a new distributor, try a new ECU.
That would be my list, someone else should chip in here.

the wiring went goood. other than what you said to check i was gonna try putting new fuses in, and also see if the main wire for the distributor is getting power. other than that i dont have another computer or dizzy to try out

try switching around the two white wires at the distributor plug. they are easy to get backwards. you will get zero spark if they are backwards

Yeah if you pull the tape and wire loom off of the distributor wires you will see that there is a white wire separate from the other white wire. there should be two sets of twisted and shielded wires a the single white wire.

So i got the car running but now it bogs and barely wants to rev out.
I had the same problem like a month ago cause my friend thought it would be funny to switch my number 2 and 3 spark plug wires at the distributor.
I dont really kn ow how to explain whats going on other than it barely wants to go. I drove it around the block and you litterally have to matt it just to get it to rev out one more grand which takes about 10 seconds to do
I checked my plugs and wires and made sure theyre in the right spot and they are.
Think I wired something wrong while I was doing the DPFI to MPFI ??

Re: (chadmasterc)
make sure you have all the dizzy wires in the right spot.. when i did it i used black wire and had 2 wires backwards.. it wouldnt rev past ~3200rpms...check for codes... i think i threw a cam angle sensor code or something...if it cranks its all in good shape... make sure your dizzy wires are all straight its fairly easy to get them crossed up

Re: (claytonsmith)
codes im throwing are as follows
9 blinks , one long blink followed by 4 blinks after, and then two long blinks with a short blink after
still cant figure out why its misfiring

Re: (x4thGenCafe)
your throwing a code 9, 14, and 21.
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1710584 list of codes
fix those and it will most likely resolve your problem

Re: (JustAnotherRex)
Yeah, but the only differnce is my ls is only throwing a code 15 which is ignition output sigle. Also my car isnt throwing spark, and the only thing i reweird was the stock connecters that go to the dizzy. The only reason i did that was because the motor i put into my obd0 crx was an obd1 ls so i had to rewired the connecters on the hareness so it can plug in into my stock harenss. so if you know what i did wrong or what i need to do please help?

How about you learn to:
A) use a spell checker.
B) Learn to spell
C) Split up your posts.
D) Fix your code and come back.
E) You didn't convert an OBD1 motor to OBD0 before putting it in? Wow.
