well...if youre gonna put in all the work, you might as well. you don't want bondo stuff bleeding through the paint..i never used it on the first car i painted, and it didn't show thru. the second car im painting now...we're doing a color change...red to white and i feel like sealer is a must so the red underneath doesn't try to bleed thru into the white. but we've used plenty coats of hi-build primer + sealer and i don't think it will be a problem.. (my friend recently did paint a coupe from black to white...he used really cheap primer i guess and after he painted it, cleared it, wet sanded, and buffed it, a week later the shitty primer bled thru and looked yellow  )

a lot of work man, im doing the same to mine. scared for putting it back together. where did you buy those sanding blocks. I stripped mine to bare metal tho.
