Rmp gauge/engine "yaws" at idle...god help me
Hey you guys. After doing an engine swap, i was soooo happy that it worked, until i let it idle for about 10 second to notice the Engines rmp gauge "yaws", (moves from like 1gs to like 2gs). Now, from what i know from previous experence, it must be a vaccum leak, (i dont see any open "tubes"). or it could be the IACV, (which i highly doubt because it worked fine before. i just dont know what to do you guys. i am going crazy. I did find on the intake manifold a "taller black box that says DENSO on it" had a hole for a tube. now the question is does anyone know what it does? its got a plug on it, so it is a sensor and its on the intake manifold on a 1996-1998 civic obd2 non ex mainfold. IF anyone could tell me what that sensor does and where that tube that should be on the back of it goes, ill so appreciate it. its off to the passage side of the throttle body and it stand tall. or if anyone else could please help me and tell me what else could make the engine yaw that would be GREAT. please, if you know what i am talking about, plwase help me. thank you so much, dave

the reason the idle surged was it was low on radiator fluid....not that anyone cared....yeah, so you guys.....Hondaswap is a much better site :D
