Yea, it does look like a upside down blox but maintenance would be very convenient.

How would you run the downpipe with the wastegate there?

yeah, that pretty much defeats the whole purpose of a top-mount manifold.... but i guess the ricers need to show off their shiny ebay turboZ!!!

I spoke with the guy's from SPA out at SEMA and looked over the product line and I would say it is worth further testing and looking into.

I think it looks pretty good myself. The wastegate placement looks like it would work really well. I don't think I'd pay $400 for it though. Maybe half that.

I think there is plenty of clearance to run downpipe....no problem but I think hood clearance would be tight. | Quote, originally posted by EJ1 wilcox » | | I think it looks pretty good myself. agreed..but I think price will come down after awhile If anyone find a pic of this installed, this would answer a lot of questions.

Looks pretty decent....wastegate placement is good for a change. If it doesn't have hood clearance issues, i would call it a decent manifold, even for the price. I do miss the convinience of my topmount...it was easy to do anything to the turbo and you NEVER have to worry about oil drains being to shallow...

One thing that may justify the cost and I don't know this for a fact, someone would have to call and ask but the cost kinda reflects that it might be made from a high grade of iron. Some of the high temp irons are just as expensive as stainless steel. The one I am thinking of is good to 1740 degrees F. If this is the case it would be less likley to crack like some of the other headers out there.

This is one of the better items I've personally seen on eBay. If the casting on it actually holds up, this would be an awesome manifold. The wastegate placement is halfway decent too.The fact that its on eBay is the only thing that worries me lol.

^^^ yeah what he said. If they used a good casting then you would get yrs from this manifold instead of months from these tube manifolds. Most crack with in a yr.

Maybe I am just use to a bottom mount, but where the wastegate is mounted it looks like you would need to run the downpipe pretty low. No need to be a bitch about it.
