I'll be up for the 4th gen one tough. I'm assuming they'll make the 5th gen one first as like in the last thread? I shot omniman a PM to check.

Well if you think it's not then it definatley won't..fortunately for the lude community we think differently..If I don't find a MFR for this I will build the thing myself

Ingalls backed out because they wanted a pre order of like 500-700 pairs and were going to charge like $300.. Omni is stepping up now with only 100 units at less of a cost, you guys write the ending of this story..I wrote the beginning..

I'm sure that's because those are mass produced on a much higher level than what they plan on these being.. Hopefully the Prelude Community will buy the stuff, that's the only way we will get supported.. No one is going to make stuff for us if the same thing that happened with the Aero Magic Replica Front Lips happens again.. People say they want it, but when the time to pay comes around, no one has cash or wants it any longer... Halo, thank you for helping and giving us the info.. Just curious, are you affiliated with OmniPower? If not, where are you getting this information? Also, where can we have questions like these answered?
These will be for 4thGen's (S, Si, VTEC) and 5thGen's (Base, SH) correct? | Quote, originally posted by 95greenlude » | | are these for front rear or both? |

Maybe not from Honda-Tech, but I would think there are a lot more Prelude drivers from other websites that would be interested in this.. There needs to be more advertisement for these, we need to gain more interest and post on other websites.. If we want stuff made for us, we have to show we want it.. And have to freakin' buy it and not say we want it and not buy... No one is going to work with people that's going to do that..

What others? You mean some camber kit POS's or the Ingalls ones that weren't made? Take a look around....The current options are not good. This is a completely adjustable upper control arm that replaces the stock one. This is stuff that is basic ABC off shelf after market options for Civics and Tegs. It's a complete joke and a travesty that Preludes STILL, after years of their discontinuation, that such an item is not available to us. Hell, just look at why we even have short shifters. Forbidden was a swell enough guy to take a chance on it, and he'll do it again when the 5th gen version comes out. Forbidden wasn't a major name brand manufacturer. He's one dude (Jeremy).
The adjustability being talked about before was -4, +4 if I'm not mistaken. This may or may not transfer over to the Omni deal. In a couple of PMs OMNIMAN said he needed to do some further number crunching.

^^^Okay so that's because of the massive civic and teg base let alone that they've been selling them longer too. Initial install base and time brings costs down. Simple economics. This isn't gonna fall from the sky for us. If we want them, a lot of us have to bite the bullet.

Could someone explain to me the advantage of this over an eccentric ball joint for camber adjustment, already available for 4g and 5g Preludes?

Range of adjustment and range of suspension travel. The adjustable ball joints stick up a lot more and cause the UCA to bump into the metal on top of the shock tower if you hit a big bump. These are also much more adjustable, easier to adjust, and they won't slip and lose their adjustment like I hear the adj ball joints are notorious for.

Just so we are all on teh same page..I am in no way affiliated with any mfr's..I am just a Prelude enthusiast sick of the wonderful and very capable lude being overlooked by the aftermarket community. I am working on the following items now for you all1) Vibrant 2.5 collector header..Affordable alternative to SMSP and Hytech 2) Adj. UCA giving us camber range of +4 to -4 3) Dart H22 short block..No more messing around with hack job sleeves..Drop pistons in and go 4) Edelbrock Victor X manifold for H22 Now moving on to the topic at hand.. Omniman told me he will officialy post in this thread and give us some type of direction on how to proceed with this..
