I figured this will go well, or get filled with a ton of cats or other stupid pictures. Hopefully people will be more mature and just have misc conversations where you dont get the "SEARCH" or "ITS BEEN COVERED" reply. Just post whatever is on your mind.

Nw project: I'm building my new keyboard stand, I broke my current one... Anyone have ANY idea where I can get a custom made spring? Say 36"-42" (Haven't decided yet), and 6" inner width, 7" outer width? Any idea if Eibach does custom springs? It doesn't have to support much weight, my keyboard controller is one of the lightest made (Yamaha CBX-K2), so it'll only have to support a few pounds, with enough resistance to stand up straight without a problem. But it can't be so stiff that I can't bend over with it. I was thinking of using a front motorcycle spring from one of the arms, but they're too small in width/diameter to support the weight, even though the one I tested was a pretty stiff spring rate. The length was good, but the spring needs to be wider.

Today I got a point deducted for posting the Type R asshat award pic in the "Integra Type R vs the World" thread. I felt the loss of the point was a tad bit extreme to say the least. The thread was bunk right from the start and is now locked. I hope I get my 1 point back. I feel like such a criminal all the sudden. Doostur, I did not know that you are Puerto Rican?

The last time I saw KMFDM in concert, they had big springs attached to their keyboards. It was pretty cool.

Yea I was born in Puerto Rico. Moved to the states when I was 7ish. I made a Puerto Rico cars thread (In appearence section) because I'd like to see if some of the people I knew would pop up. I know if you see my pictures I look like a white boy from Ireland , my mom is dark skinned and I came out white haha. And NO i'm not the milk mans son or adopted etc etc (heard them all). We also have a home in Connecticut, and the Marines have me everywhere, from SC, NC, FL, CA, Japan. Here are some pics from my last vacation:

I know a few Jeep guys in town, I'll ask them if they have their stock springs. Thanks for the suggestion. | Quote, originally posted by DontBlink » | | theres a spring shop a couple blocks from me going out off bussiness, i can stop by and see if they got anything if you might be able to use. |
Dude, if you could do that for me, that would be awesome! There are no spring shops in this area, I've called EVERYWHERE. Every fabrication shop, every custom race shop, no one has any idea.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KmfdmIf your talking about being first with putting a spring on a keyboard then, I dunno. But KMFDM had a big hand in starting the Industrial music genre that you are speaking of. I'll be more tha happy to give you some CD's to download if you want.

I think every R owner feels the same way. Something less stolen, with more power, etc etc. No other car has what I'm looking for, thats why I'm still here Only issue I had was that I need more power and I took care of that. Best of both worlds
