I think that had a lot to do with your gearing.
I drive on the 235's daily and they are ok but not great. I am goin to try the MT's for the street next

I purchased the MT's 235-60-15 and should be in by tomorrow. I'm changing from the BF's 225-50-15 so I will let you all know which I feel is better!!

Re: (BoostR41)
my input....
225/50/15 BFGs: i have just under 600whp and spin 3rd badly with these still (full weight Si coupe). one they are hot enough they do somewhat better. i also heat cycled them when i first got them ( dont know if that even makes a difference but id like to think so)
235/60/15 BFGs: i have heard they arent much better and that they "feel floaty" under load. but im sure you will have that with any giant DR on a FWD car.
235/60/15 M&H: i think im buying those next. i have heard good things about them from people who have used them

Now I haven't tried the BFG's but I went from a 225/50/15 Toyo RA1 to MT 235/60/15 et streets and it was a night and day difference. Good investment on my part

so what is the maximum size tire that can be run on a 6" wheel? I thought 235 was pushing it....
from M/T info: Minimum Recommended Rim Width (in): 6.50 in.

235/60/15 M&H bias ply FTW! I ran the 225/50 BFGs before and spun through third, switched to the M&Hs and wow, a night and day difference. I actually get traction in second now with over 300WHP. they are excellent tires for the street and strip, IMO. I ran 2.0 60ft times my first time at the track ever, more seat time i dont see 1.7-.8 being a problem. Talk to John @ M&H, he is an awesome person to deal with, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Hell hook you up Ask anyone else running them, go M&H and never look back!
