Can you explain what you meant by "block guard (properly installed)"? Thanks.

basically the reason i only ran 11.8 is because we had small drag radials. if i had some slicks it should have ran 10.9ish the car was on 20psi that night cause it was the first time out and just wanted to make some good pulls. truth is it could have ran the same time on a lot less boost. the car smokes the tires through 4th gear its impossible to drive on the street at 20psi. anyway it has some cheap ebay coil overs which is going to be replaced soon (haven't decided what suspension to use yet) as far as me saying block guard properly installed is that I hear a lot of stuff about people not liking them because of some reason. when you put them in you should have them installed 1/4" down from the top of the block so you dont get hotspots. (i have a feeling you knew that tho) but i just always say installed properly because i get people who want to tell me how it should be done. lol anyway it going on the dyno on october 13 and ill be sure to post up the results. the track is closed here now so i wont have any better times until next season. thanks for all the interest in the car tho.

body kits?? have you been in the appearnce and cosmetic forum at all?? its like 1 in 20 cars that ever get posted up that have a body kit, if that...

"new fad called a kswap" ??

so people are doing k-swaps cause its a "fad" i thought it was because of the broad powerband and tremendous amount of power they make bone stock....hmm...

ima go put a k20R in the hatch just to be cool

edit:BTW if we all made thread builds for each of everyones projects imagine how many threads that would be..?

****, I would have about 20 threads if I did that..LOL

theres plenty of tech in honda-tech.... search and you'll see..

Yeah K swaps are stupid fads. Making lots of power with a bone stock NA motor is the most retarded **** you can do. Build an HMT kit for your D15B2, and swap an Integra front end on your car. Thats what what everyone on this site should be doing, because obviously we bought CRXes, and EF Civics, beecause we were broke, and couldn't afford Integras. Then when your HMT SOHC blows up you can buy like 47 replacement motors, before you eclipse the cost of a K swap. I mean who the hell wants something stock, and reliable? I like to spend all my time, and money replacing engines, I mean since I am to lazy to wire up VTEC, you know I didn't MPFI my car, or convert it to a tunable setup of any kind. I just rock the OEM DPFI stuff. My fuel pump went out awhile back though so I replaced it with a walbro, and it seems to keep up with the turbo pretty good. I've only paper weighted 3 blocks this month. I now spend more money on filters, and oil for the new donor motors than I do for gas, since I usually only get a pass or two from a motor.

Yes but those who know should enjoy it. I wish he didn't delete all those posts. I found it very informative. I wish I never did this stupid K swap. I could have saved allot of money, had I just did HMT on my A6. I am such a loser, after the 2 ZCs, the B16A, and the built B16A, and now this K pile. I could have easily bought 100 extra blocks for a SOHC half assed setup instead.

thank you all for your comments and concerns regarding threads past with ideas that could be reality.....i like the fact that you guys say anything you want about me. makes me feel loved

its like this, i post whatever the expletive i want and feel good about it, regardless of the responses given to stupid questions and answers from stupid people, and my responses mean nothing to you so ignore them.

yes i agree the op car is great in every way shape and form. but i still dont see why my response was filtered out?
so once again<

and with all of those mods only a 11.8? <- asking why only a 11.8 with those mods

me stating a fact about another car similar to his -> i believe there is a crx that is running damn close to 10.5 i believe with an HMT kit,

right. <- me asking others to verify this statement

and me stating where i saw it and what i believe he had in his car -> remember seeing it on pinks. i believe its an ls/vtec as well, or straight ls.

hmm -> this little thing is me wondering why and awaiting a response from the OP.

if you ask me, his kit sure does look like an HMT kit to me. only difference is his is of a higher grade than most. then again, what am i saying is he DID NOT STATE WHY he ran such a time with the motor he had, then after i responded, he posted a reason being on why it did what it has done at the track. so the way i see it is, i was attacked for saying HMT before a response from the op by streetwerks. right now i feel good knowing that anything to do with turbos automatically puts me in the " heres another dumb HMT member" category. and coming from a site where they KNOW ALL and have DONE ALL get all bent out of shape for 3 letters of the english alphabet. ill appologize to the OP for his thread being riped apart not only by me, but streetwerks for trying to single me out for no real reason at all. and now i would like to here a response from the OP regarding this matter. since others try to speak for him....................
