Ive searched and read tons of threads and this is what ive came up with as far as EX knuckles go:
11" 93-96 Prelude VTEC rotors redrilled to 4x100 ITR Calipers or 91-94 Accord Wagon calipers Do you have to use the T23 or T25 mounting bracket from the accord wagon or the ITR or does the mounting bracket from the EX knuckle work with the ITR caliper or accord wagon caliper for this upgrade? Some threads and sites ive read say it bolts right up and other threads and sites say that you have to shave 3mm off the caliper bracket but does not state which caliper bracket..... the stock EX bracket or the ITR Bracket or all of them need 3mm shaved off and I should just stay with the stock EX bracket so I dont have to pay a grip for the T23 and T25 brackets???? I know this has been covered a bunch of times but I dont feel the threads covering the subject got to the point. Maybe I missed something and somone can point me to a thread thats proven or website that would be great, or if someone out there has done the swap and knows even better. I want to buy the right parts the fist time so I dont end up wasting money and with some help id love to do a write up on this with pics. Thanks everyone. |

You can also use Legend calipers. I used the bracket that came with my ITR calipers milled 2.5mm and have been using the setup on track for a little over 2 years. No issues no problems.

Type-R calipers are not all that expensive, its getting the expensive caliper brackets that im trying to avoid, im thinking about picking up the calipers and prelude rotors and shaving the EX brackets and see how that combo works, if it doesnt looks like im just gonna have to bite the bullet and get the T23 or T25 brackets.

Street Racer X, you can use the accord wagon calipers & as CRX Toad mentioned, the Legend calipers will work as well. the 17CL15VN caliper can also be found in junkyards (i.e., +97 prelude, accord, cr-v, vigor, rl, tl, cl, odyssey, etc). get the ITR calipers with the brackets Quote:

http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=734560 http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1811368 the milled 23T (or 25T) allows you to use the ITR caliper (1-pot), legend GS (2-pot) or NSX calipers w/ 11" rotors on EX knuckles; they all share the same size pads * * pm BrakeExpert, he machines brackets, re-drills rotors & specializes in OEM honda brake upgrades
