Default 1991 Honda Accord LX 4 Radiator Fluid in the Distributor!

My engine seems to have radiator water coming our of the distributor. How in the world is this possible? This is causing the engine to miss as the inside of the distributor is full of water.

I do need to replace the timing belt anyways but I have never heard of this situation before. Can someone clue me in as to how water is getting into the distributor and what the fix is?

Thanks,

Joe

you cant get coolant inside the distributor unless, A. someone puts it there, B. you have a coolant leak that sprays the coolant there,(you would have to be missing the distributor cap gasket) or C.you are missing the distributor cap gasket and you inadvertanly washed the distributor and the qestuionable fluid is not coolant, but soapy water. High milage hondas are very prone to oil getting past the shaft seal and contaminating the inside of the distributor. they dont respond well to this. be sure of the offending liqud before condeming any parts.
