LOL!!!! I just looked, and it sure is a 4 speed, that's hilarious! I've never seen a Honda with a 4 speed, I never really cared about the Honda hbs until recently. Before that I only dealt with 84-87 CRXs, so whatever lol. Plus I have almost zero free time on my hands these days so I only drove the car once around the block, after that I just parked it and haven't even looked at it until this morning. My other Civic and a friend's Toyota have been getting all of my attention lately. Anyway, $1,200 is nothing considering that I spent absolutely nothing on the car to begin with. Plus I already have a buyer for it who will pay $1,800 when it's done. Not much of a profit (maybe $200) but I mostly want the experience of doing a swap. I've done bigger (but much different) projects before so it shouldn't be all that bad. Anyway, thanx for all the "support" (I know you're all laughing at me ). I just pulled the headlight and the car is filthy but here's a picture anyway.

I have a feeling that you'll drive that thing on the zc tranny and ecu (both very nice to have on the zc) and not think its worth 1800 to sell anymore my friend.also for you: http://www.zcspeed.com

Yeah, the main reason I was willing to pay what I did was because it seems to have almost everything already with it, so I wont have to spend my time tracking down a whole bunch of parts. The only things I'm not sure about are the ECU, the axles and the injector resistor. I think the US market Integra may have an ECU that offers better performance? If so I'll use that one. I saw somewhere that the ZC axles may not fit the std Civic hubs, but I'm not sure of that either. An injector resistor seems to be pretty easy to get a hold of so I don't think it will be a problem if the engine didn't come with one.

Really, you think it might be worth more? The body isn't actually in very good shape, it has some pretty good size dents on the other side. Although it's never been wrecked and it's rust free. The interior seems to be ok but it's really dirty (I think it sat with a window open for a long while), I'm hoping when I clean the thing it will look a lot better.

The axle hub is different for the std you'll dx/si or integra/da type to work right good deal if you asked me for the price Oh yeah the 89 integra ecu is somewhat better but I would keep it all ZC why spend any more$$$ if you have the ZC ecu as long as it's 5spd the auto will work but you'll get CEL for sure but overall it should still fire up...GOOD LUCK...

Huh? How is the 89 teg ECU better than the ZC ecu? In any way, shape, or form?

This is actually a widely argued subject. In my experience, the PG7 is worse than the PM7 simply because it ran a little richer and I was using it as a DD. Overall though, the PM7 is the right ECU for that motor and hence, it works "the best".

Yup, I'm definitely sticking with the PM7, it just doesn't seem to be worth the cost for an Integra ECU. Is there any way to tell exactly what ECU I got? I wouldn't think that it would be the one for an auto trans, but I'm kinda curious if it is or not.

I just don't get where the argument comes in. I've ran a ton of ECUs on DOHC ZC's and the PM7 is obviously the right one. I've had a PM6, PG7, PM7, PR4, Dinan PR4, rover ZC (no o2 sensor) and multiple custom setups. The PG7 was a bit better than the PM6, the rover ZC was awesome, but the PM7 just ran the smoothest. Additionally, you can't easily chip a PG7, and the ECU legs are all wonky.

yeah but did yours have a fuel pump? This is the most complete and comprehensive swap I have ever seen... by far.

I have some 91 Si hatch spindles for sale with the brakes also, and injector resistor boxes also(one of each style) if you do need either for the swap.Looks nice though, its rare you find a complete swap like that just to make things easier. | Quote, originally posted by 90Zcrx » | | I just don't get where the argument comes in. Was it OBD-1? and do you still have it? I used to know someone that had one on his stock integra and it did wonders, his stock integra was faster than an integra with cams/i/h/e. I went to the Dinan website before though and all they show is just BMW and Mini things.

PACT-Man:No I don't have it, I bought it off someone from the original hybrid forum back in 97, and it was OBD-0. It ran really well, but had no rev limiter and was too rich for a ZC. 89s1: Yup, butt dyno 100%. I had somewhat flakey ignition at the time, and the rover ECU just seemed to run really smooth. It was obviously not a good rom overall considering it has no 02 sensor. The roms for both of these chips are pretty easy to get ahold of, though, and they'll run in just about any obd0 ecu with an external rom.
