Default 95 Integra:Viper 5900 Install

I've got the alarmed installed but ran into a few problem. Just to let everyone know I have the basic alarm, Battery back up, shock sensor, and Ultrasonic sensor 509u. The alarm works great so far. All I need to get figured out is my two problems

First, I got my remote start working fine. 5spd btw. I installed the starter kill relay tonight and now the remote start doesnt work because of the relay. Anything I can do to fix this?

Second, this one more complicated. The ultrasonic sensor I tied into my trunk pin but it didnt work. I used a 1amp diode and i wired it 2 inches away from the plug that goes to the brain but for some reason it didnt work. Also while i was in the car i could see the trunk light flicker very dim at night. So decided to tie it with the hood pin. I used the same 1amp diode and put the end of the diode directly into the pin where it plugs into the brain. Now it works great.

Before this I had my battery back up trigger tied in with the hood pin and it worked fine as I tested it. Disconnected the car battery and it paged me saying that my hood was tampered with. So then I moved it over to the same spot i hooked up my ultrasonic sensor to the trunk pin. Hooked up with a diode, I would disconnect the car battery, the alarm would go off but it would not page me. After that i took out the diode. When I armed the alarm now it would say that the trunk is open.

I know the trunk and hood pin is the same. Both are are negative triggers. It seem that when the sensors are tied with the hood pin at the connector it works fine. When those two sensor are tied into the trunk pin 2 inches away from the connector they trip out.

So once I get this figured out my alarm will be all set. If you guys have any idea what it could be let me know.
