So i decided its time for a build thread.

i'll be updating this as things happen and as i find/take pictures.
Thanks! comments are welcomed even if you hate it

im not a photographer and most (if not all) the pictures suck so bear with me.

I bought my '03 coupe in the spring of '06 completely stock with 43k miles

After a few months i started doing a few things to teh car.

I started out with installing an indash dvd player adn two 12" subs. also some lights and autometer guages (call me
ricer or whatever i dont care. I also relocated the batter to the trunk

I was working at a muffler shop at the time so i installed a Ravin Performance exhaust and a cold air intake

A few more pictures of the car basically stock

Then i decided to buy a '95 civic sedan and threw some Sprint Hart Tuners on it

And now the fun begins.

The car got wrecked by a tree in the left front fender. The body shop quoted $4500 to fix it. two months later i
got my car back with a total bill of $8900

While the '03 civic was in the body shop my '95 got stollen.

I then dropped the civic on Tein Basics

Then on the 4th of july my left front wheel bearing seized up because the body shop hadnt replaced it like
they should have. so it destroyed my rim and took out my left front fender.

then while my car was sitting at the shop waiting to get fixed my ex girlfriend busted out my rear window and smashed
up the passenger side of the car.

So i picked up a set of cheap fenders (i dont really like them but whatever they work for now)
Rocked them white for a while till i had teh time to paint them.

gotta love rain in the mountains

finally got them painted

By now my Ravin exhaust was pretty much worn out so i picked up a HKS Hi-Power

before:

after:

Then i decided to finally fix the damage done by my ex when she vandalized the car since the shop wouldnt do shit.
so i sanded the car down, fixed the dents and am doing a respray. (pix of this when its all done)

then winter came

My fiance and i are having a baby soon so i need trunk space again for a stroller, etc so i moved the batter to
inside the panel behind the driver
(my digital cameras got stolen so i dotn have any pictures) this was actually taken while i was in the process of
doing the instal

I also built a custom box that allows the sub to sit where the spare tire is. but the whole thing can be easily
removed if need be.
here is a really crappy picture of the sub and amp. it sucks not having a digital camera anymore
I think i am going to put plexiglass over the amp since it is vented from underneath so i wont have to worry about the amp overheating.

Shifter boot made by my finace

This weekend i also blacked out my headlights and removed the amber inserts. again no real pics to to f*ing theives but here is a cell phone pic from right when i finished them.

a while back i redid the guage location. here's a picture of the voltmeter location along wiht the battery cutoff switch for when i go to the drag strip.

I ordered replacement mirrors. there just OEM replacements but i'll finally have a passenger mirror again! woohoo!!

New mirrors come in today. there red but a lil sanding and paint will fix that.

so thats basically where im at now. workign on putting my turbo kit together as money allows.

A lil update:
So a guy i know runs a towing company and long story short ended up with a wrecked '92 Accord turbo. It has some parts on it that i want and the guy doesnt want to deal with parting it out so i bought it off him and am parting it out. This weekend im bringing it down from Meeker to my place so i'll have updates if anyone needs accord parts. Basically because i got it for so cheap, the money i get from parting this out will buy the parts i need for my civic.

3-17-08 UPDATE:
I replaced the door speakers with the Alpines from the Accord. they sound MUCH better.

update 5-19-08 lots of changes in the works.
Installing zex nitrous kit, walboro 255lph, return fuel system, megan fpr, new shifter knob, vacuum manifold, etc.

heres a lil update picture. Primer FTW lol

5-28-08

my Megan Racing fuel pressure regulator came today

and my new shifter knob came to

a few more pictures of the engine bay, nitrous setup.
The engine bay is undergoing a make over as of right now

a few more little updates:

started cleaning up the engine bay. painted the air intake

New wheels and tires will be here friday. i picked up a set of WedsSport RS-5 and a set Kuhmo Ecsta AST tires. I'll post pictures when the wheels get here. there going to take some cleaning/painting but will be ready to go by Import Alliance.

Also found a set of fenders finally.

I have quite a list of things to do before IA to get it ready so hopefully i have the time to get to it all!

UPDATE 7/2/08
I worked on a few odds and ends things after Brianna and Aubrey went to bed last night. nothing major just cleaning a few things up

an old amp i had laying around i'm going to use for my speakers
before:

All masked off:

and taken apart:

and during paint:

and finished:

also decided to head the heat shield with a new coat of hi temp alluminum paint:

sorry for the bad lighting and all in the pictures. it was dark outside i finished up a little after midnight.

I have to disagree. Some tan racing seats up front, with some black floor mats, and the interior car would be golden.

Not really my style, but nice choice in suspension. IMO you should raise the rear up a half inch.

ya i still have the crappy fenders. the fiberglass is chipped in a few places and they look like shit so before the repaint i'm putting on OEM replacements. i just need to hunt some down for a good price.

boy i wish i coulda spent that $8900 on mods instead of repairs. id have a hell of a nice turbo car thats for sure!
