My G3 Integra Wire Tuck and Engine Bay Shaving!
Since i havent seen too many integra's on here with wire tucks, i thought id share mine. Ive read all the wire tuck threads and i thought it was time for me to make myself a little project of my own
Ive been working on my wire tuck for the last month or so on and off.... Ive made some progress so far.
First off, i went ahead and took the head off because i knew with that off, id have plenty of room to work around in the engine bay without taking out the whole motor. Ill eventually pull it but not yet. Another reason i pulled the head was cuz i bought a new one
Along with taking the head off, i went ahead and removed the radiator, bumper, fender, all my intercooler piping and intercooler. I had already removed all my ac crap and ps crap on my last motor build. Then went ahead and took out my stupid emissions crap(i know the car wont pass emissions w/o it, and i dont care). I went ahead and removed my windsheild washer fluid bottle and all the lines that went with it. ok i think you all get the point
Then i went ahead and removed my Dashboard. That people is a BIG pain in the ***.
While the dash was out, i went ahead and threw away my heater core and AC blower box. Heavy peices of JUNKS
My plans are to go with a FULL wire tuck, not this half *** tuck. I mean relocate the battery and fuse box. Remove my ABS. Relocate all my brake lines to the inside the cabin. Weld all the holes shut. Repaint the engine bay. Pretty much have my engine Floating
Here is the pictures of how it was about a month ago:
and here is what my car kinda looks like now but W/O the Window sticker now!

Re: My G3 Integra Wire Tuck and Engine Bay Shaving! (austinxtreme512)
Heres my bay as of 3 weeks ago:
Driver Side still untouched:
No more Battery, Fuse Box or Wires along the Pass side:
Front Bumper Gone :
Pass side Fender Removed so I can start this side of the Tuck:
Here is where all my wires lie, Can you see that Fuse Box? It will soon be resoldered and mounted in its new location:
And finally, all those ugly heavy boxes are gone! Now to mount my 99-00 Civic SI 40/40 prop valve in that general location:

OK so i made the mistake of cutting my fuse box wires. oh well, all soldered back up and redy to go. The fuse box wires DONOT have to be cut, there is plugs behind the fuse box that you undo so you can relocate the fuse box in the bay if you wanted to. It took me a couple hours to do 18 wires for the fuse box cuz i wanted to make sure i got it all right and make sure no wire were showing. I dont want to blow fuses I put shrink wrap on it AND wrapped it with electrical tape, Can never be TOO careful
Here is the Fuse box, CUT and ready to be soldered:
Here it is all soldered and Wrapped up:
A closer look:

Here is how my fuse box is mounted. i think im going to redo it... I want to rivet a peice of sheet metal where that hole is. then mount it that way.
I got the fuse box mounted where i wanted it.... I think it looks good:
Here is whats holding it up, 2 sheet metal screws:

Im not done around this area just yet. I still have to mess with other wires....
This is where i decided to clean up the nest of wires so i wrapped it with a little bit of electrical tape:
And here it is with the wires all covered and tucked behind the fuse box:

Ok now, on to the fun stuff:
Well i had a fun day with trying to figure out which wires i need to de-pin from the big ORANGE connector(ABS) behind my fuse box. Im removing my ABS system so im not gonna need those orange plugs that are attached to harness anymore. In order to keep my harness looking clean and making it easier for me to reroute the harness, i cut the ABS wires going to the orange plugs so i can trace all the wires back to the BIG orange connector. So i traced the wires and de-pinned them from the plug. Thank god thats over.
Once i did that, The harness didnt look that intimidating. If anything it made it smaller....
Ok no for some pics:
Here's my ABS wires that i deleted from my harness, a mess huh?:
Here im attempting to guide my wires through this hole:
Inside the cabin where its rerouted:
Just look at this headache:
Heres a few pics of it all the way through and test mounted:
Here is the inside, Im not truely done in here cuz i want to clean this up and secure all the wires as best as possible so it looks decent:

Re: My G3 Integra Wire Tuck and Engine Bay Shaving! (austinxtreme512)
This portoin of the update is mounting all the wires to NEW locations in the fender Well... Enjoy.
By the way, if you have a better idea on how to run these wires or mount the grounds, hids, ect please let me know. Thanks
First Hole Drilled in the fender well to mount the wires:
All mounted:
Some pics of where i mounted my HID's, ground, and misc wires:
All of it Mounted:
HID's mounted:
Another Angle:
I think im done with this side. Im gonna look over all the wires one last time and maybe do a test run of them all to see if they all work but maybe i should do the other side before i proceed to turn the lights on!! We'll see!
Comments are welcome, thanks

DRIVER SIDE:
This is where im actually at at this point of my tuck.
This part was pretty easy, a lot easier than my other side. Well, so far that is:
Side shot
Another side Shot
There is the hole the wires went through
I removed the plastic wiper panel and wiper motor is gone
The hole again where the wires used to be routed through
Another shot of the upper area of the firewall
And how i left it for the night
Anybody need a wiper motor? its taking up space

nice wiring.. but if u get into a car crash and someone hits ur fender hard enough to strip the wiring and touch it to the car metal or something of that nature..
it can cause a FIRE !!

WHOA....So do you plan on driving this vehicle as a Daily Driver or weekend car?
Removing A/C is essential especially Summer coming up and also the windshield wiper motors are beneficial during rainy days.
Whichever route you plan to choose..Good Luck.
Keep us updated on the car

Try driving a week during rush hour in 100 degree temperatures...and opening the window is not going to help at all.
A/C is a big deal.
