those aluminum bar is not gonna hold it...
and wouldn't the intake manifold sort a too small... i think it needs way more volume?
nevertheless, it would be sick once you reinforce everything i think!

Re: (codenamezero)
I didn't realize the aluminum bar was for structural support...
and the plenum's volume is almost 2.5 times the displacement of the engine... i think it's just fine. I couldn't think of a design i liked that would clear the hood so i'll be molding in a cowl.

you should look into cosworths plenum for the 350z

Re: Little project of mine (714phil)
I'm building it for fun. Looking for mid 500's on the stock motor. Next stage will be some eagle rods and some wiseco or je pistons and then looking for 700's. I would like to make more after that with a more serious build but it's too far away to even consider right now. Twin t3/60-1's, 60mm gates, tial bov, custom turbo and intake manifolds, 90mm tb, 75lb injectors, standalone (havent decided on one yet), trunk mounted radiator, 3" downpipes and 2.25" dumptubes coming out of the sides in front of the front tires, 24"x12"x4" vertical flow i/c cores with custom end tanks, etc.

I rather build my own parts whenever possible. It doesn't matter if they don't workout that great, i usually end up making something new within a couple of months anyways.

You can put down 500whp if you install some arp rod bolts. I've seen a tread on my350z about the tranny gears, they looked quite stout. It was out of a car that had the APS tt kit, I belive the only problem they were seeing was either the brass ring's teeth or they synchro's teeth had some excessive wear. I'm sure with some really good tuning the a stock 3.5 will do 500whp in a very reliable manner

Re: (P.Winkowski)
Also I think you maybe underestimating this setup 1000whp should be no problem once the bottom end is done. Hit up Carl Stevens, I think thats his name
Extreme Race cars, hes running about 200 mph on a 10.5 tire with this motor
