Need help with problem
I brought a 1991 honda accord with a blown head gasket. I replaced the head gasket and now have two unique problems. First, I let the engine warm up to a nice idle. Till that point, it sounds good even when hitting the accelerator. The problem is that once it warms up, you hit the gas a couple of times and it just dies like someone has turned the key. The second problem is that the moment you turn the key, it starts pumping fuel into the cylinders thru the injectors instead of just pressurizing the line. In other words the injectors seem to be on when the key is turned even though the engine is not running. Any help would be appreciated. New to hondas and I want to thank you in advance for any help you might be able to give.

Re: Need help with problem (sony224422)
I do not know if it ever overheated. I bought this car for a few hundred at an auction and took a chance. The body was in excellent shape and the engine purred when it was started. I was getting white smoke/moisture when I got it and that is why I replaced the head gasket. I also had the head resurfaced, cleaned and checked. The cylinder sleeves seem to be okay because the moisture/smoke went away after I put it back together and there was no bubbling in the coolent.
