There is some great stuff out there that doesnt make it mainstream. Check out http://www.metalreview.com . Good site, sometimes reviews are very biased but it does give you a chance to check new bands out and see if you like em.

They are good but they burned me out after listening to a couple songs. I just dl'd a couple albums by Borknagar. They are pretty damn good, they mix some BM vocals with some sung passages......
