More than likely, yes. I'd recommend some Tein S-techs with the Konis. I call the Tein/Koni setup a next step up from an A-spec kit, because it is a touch lower and touch more springrate.

yes, your gonna wear down the tires from whichever spec is out of alignment ie: caster, toe, camber you will prob notice a better driving exp. with the alignment

alignment dosent just had to do with ur toe angle. there is also caster and camber. toe in means that the wheels are pointed slightly in. usually a few degrees. toe out is the opposite. sometimes, alignment gets to a point where sometimes both wheels point left or right, which is why you feel the car going in a different direction even though your steering wheel is perfectly straight. having bad toe angles will quickly eat away at your tires, whereas camber and caster isnt as bad. lowering a car affects the toe angle dramatically, so an alignment is highly suggested after changing the suspension.please note that with most (if not all) lowering springs will increase the spring rate and giving u a stiffer ride. if you want a soft ride and to lower ur car at the same time, the only solution would probably be cutting ur springs, although, it will destroy ur handling and ur ride will bounce all over the place. the aspec would be a small change both in the drop and the spring rate. going with stiffer springs and shocks will increase ur cars weight transfer and decrease body roll which will almost always mean that u get a car that can handle better, but there is the trade off of having a very uncomfortable car to sit in. you will literally feel every bump on the road whether its big or small. for those that are complaining about having an uncomfortable ride, you kind of asked for it by going to an aftermarket setup and having stiffer sprins and shocks. so, if you dont want a stiff and uncomfortable ride, i suggest you to not go with an aftermarket setup.
California Residents: if anyone is looking to get a quote from Farmers, let me know. i personally know a farmers agent that will do all she can to lower your rates. my insurance with state farm was 4200 a year with a clean record for a 2006 rsx type-s and a 15/30/15 liability. Now it is 2200 a year with 100/300/100 liability with everything else at the same coverage and i also have life insurance, which is covered under the 2200.edit: it's now 1600 a year.

its not stock if thats what your asking, and yes you do feel the bumps, but it isnt to bad. probably the best set up for you if your still planing on lowering it

Picture the A-spec kit as midway between stock and the Mugen (all three are from the same manufacturer, too). More responsive than stock, but not as stiff as Mugen, and with a tasteful drop that still looks clean instead of slammed. If you want a big drop, there are cheaper ways to get it. If you want a no-muss, no-fuss way to make your RSX more fun to drive, the A-spec is a great choice. And, yes, ALWAYS get an alignment after unbolting anything in your suspension. That cost should be included in your total budget.
