Other "indie-ish" bands I like, Spoon, Junior Boys, Postal Service,

Cocteau Twins - So many quality songs since the 80's. They might not always be singing real words but its not always about the lyrics, their songs are beautiful. Summerhead, Blue Bell Knoll, Lorelei, Cherry Coloured Funk, Evangeline, Pur, frou frou foxes in midsummer, Heaven or Las Vegas, etc..

I just noticed they are on Letterman tonight... Ill have to check it out.

Cave In's 'Antenna' is really good. I haven't heard any others yet.

'Who Will Survive and What Will Be Left of Them' by Murder By Death is absolutely amazing, as is 'Like the Exorcist, but More Breakdancing.' I'm not real crazy about their new one yet.

Dredg - all of their albums are great, but 'El Cielo' is my favorite.

I also like Beirut, and am starting to enjoy Joanna Newsom, although her voice takes some getting used to.

I saw the Black Keys pretty recently and had an awesome time. Definitely a winner.

anywho, somehow they got signed on with fat possum, and their latest album songs pretty good from what i've heard, interesting.
