<FONT COLOR="DarkOrange"><FONT SIZE="3">Ksport Equipped 240SX Sets New Track Record!</FONT></FONT>

Phoenix Intl. Raceway - With the fall season getting underway September 9th at PIR, KSport driver Brady Dohrmann drove a former Speedvision World Challenge 240SX in the super competitive NASA Time Trial series. This 240SX, which rides on KSport's GT Pro coilovers, sees regular duty in the NASA and CRA race groups as well.

Running in Class E, Brady and the 240SX sought out to beat the 1:20.25 record set in December 2005. In only the 2nd track session of the day on Saturday, the record was obliterated with the 240SX turning a 1:14.5 lap. That record wouldn't stand long however as Brady managed to break it three more times during the weekend. The #72 car started 4th of 13 on the grid for the TT Shootout Sunday afternoon, eventually turning in a 1:13.616 to solidify the record.

This is the 2nd track record for KSport, as another 240SX piloted by Brady also holds a different class record with a 1:07.3, which was set at the Super Street Qualifier back in May 2006.

Just found something out and figured I'd post it up here...

The KSport GT Pro coilovers, aside from offering different spring rates, are IDENTICAL to the Kontrol Pro (what everyone has) except for ONE difference, and that is that the front struts are inverted...that's it.

Granted, there's more to this car's winning-ness than its suspension, but it's still something to think about there...

not to rain on any parades but the TT classes haven't really been around long enough to be 'super competitive'.

I'd suggest some people take a look at the rules for TT, and then you can make your own judgement about how impressive it is.

Does it really matter what class he was racing in? The point here is to show how KSport products can and will perform, but also how they're creating a name for themselves in the racing world. Everyone has to start from somewhere...I really don't think big companies like Eibach and H&R started off producing suspension for WRC and LeMans cars. Nobody's saying KSport is now officially the be all and end all of suspension.

It may be a smaller, less-competitive/popular racing class, but the fact remains that they're doing very well in it.
