Re: (Asselin)
you can get bolts from a hardware store, but you have to get ones that are strong, you need M10x80 fine thread metric grade 10.9, the 8.8 grade junk won't hold up. personally i would just go to honda since you'll save time and gas trying to find a place that has those size bolts.

Re: (super_nguyen)
napa has them(at least the one in simi valley, ca does), but amazingly the dealer was cheaper by 2.50 per bolt. go to honda automotive parts and prit out the prices, the dealer should be willing to sell them to ou for the list price,if their cool they'll sell them to you for the websites price(has only happened once though for a valve cover stud)

What exactly did you use instead of OEM?
Grade 5? Fine thread or coarse thread? What diameter? Bought from where?

WTF!!! That looks no good and scares me cause I'm using non-oem bolt, too. I will replace it ASAP!
Question: I saved one of the oem bolts when I installed shocks. But I used torch and put lots of pressure on it. Do you guys think it's got weak or okay to re-use? The oem bolt is expensive as hell!

cost of oem bolt < cost of flatbed + replace/fix anything broken

Did you actually see evidence that the Midas bolt sheared?
If so, I'd sure take this up with Midas.
From the price, it sounds like Midas sold you Grade 8 bolts. I would not expect Grade 8 to shear. So this is kind of puzzling, but also interesting, to me.

I feel justified for telling ppl not to go to Home Depot for suspension bolts. OEM is expensive as hell, but fixing that will be more. Glad your OK though.
