Depends if you are in short-term or long term.

I pulled some of my clients money out and have been sitting on cash for a month or so. Others are in it for the long haul, and they understand that the markets have upswings and downswings.

I would agree me being all long term, I just bite down for what I have.

Short term, it might be time to think about moving funds.

Anyone who is should be . . . . to an extent.

The rising interest rates aren't going to curtail energy price related inflation per say . . . . I think the market is in for a correction personally, but maybe thats just me.

Raise interest rates and the stock market will tank.

Pause and the dollar will continue to get pounded.

I think we are at least going to see another 50 basis points....

I would not be long this market at all I would be short the s&p/dow/naz futures.

The only thing I might be long is gold once it puts in a bottom which could be very soon if not already forming.

Gold is a fickle investment though, didnt it hit 712.25 recently or something crazy like that? I wouldnt be suprised to see it back below 600 in the near future.

futs hit 740 or near it

that move was all specualtion as metals were pumped left and right.

A reasonable number for gold is 800 year end.

I'm worried that in a few months i'm going to kick myself for not picking up on some nicely priced stocks that are out there right now.

LOL! 800? LOL!

No friggin way gold gets to 800 by year end, I'll bet my life on it. It WAS trading up around that 740 level what, two weeks ago, up from a low of 400 or so for a year, thats a huge increase due to speculation and now its starting its decline back to sane levels (605 yesterday and falling fast).

Hell yeah I lost 1G this week.

And I wanted to make that back so I got into HOM for just a quick ride, it was cheap because it took a huggee dive, because some bs report from stocklemon.com. Got in and actually my target price was reached then I got greedy and held and it hasnt reached it again. So I am stuck in it, until next week, hopefully a good PR comes out monday or something. That or I have to hold for like 2 weeks more. Which is ok because I am going on vacation anyway.

Its a bear market it must have been easy for shorts these days, I just dont have the guts to short.

If you bought in at the "rush" I would be in a hurry to lower your cost basis...or short it

Best of luck to you...

If it does you will become my slave?

Banks are shorting the shit out of gold in order to hold it down... imo

We will see.

LOL woooow.....A comment like that shows just how worthless your life is then? It's not speculation. It's inflation......PROVEN fact. Read the news out today.

Fed's Pianalto says troubled by rise in inflation

Gold will move back over 700 onto 800 in 6 months
