Good Source for Hubs

Best price I can find so far on rear hubs for my Civic is $103 each (ouch). I've heard of people getting them for as little as $85, but have no idea where that source is located, if it exists at all. Anyone?

i get mine at autozone; around $80 each last time i bought a pair of rears; that is for a 95 civic with drum brakes in rear....

oops, didnt catch that he was asking about rears.

i'd check to see which bearings autozone or any hub supplier uses for bearings since the rear have the outer race bearings joined.

I have the OPM hardened ones on the front. They have 7 sprints and 2 enduros on them and still show no signs of any play.

I'd prefer OEM for the rear depending upon pricing.
I'm a big fan of OEM honda stuff.

i've got about 3 years and about 40 events on my rear Autozone hubs. the first (oem) set went out after about 3 years of racing and 80k street miles....

The front hubs are heat treated to prevent the hub from cracking at the radius between the flange and the hub body. This is essential because the hubs will shear and send you flying at the most inoppertune time. If you are running hard or have a lot of races on the hubs you should replace them.

The hub bearings rarely fail and after 7 races you shouldn't feel any play, in fact as long as the hubs are installed properly and the bearing doesn't just fail they should not become loose for years.

The rear hubs are available from a good auto parts like NAPA or AutoZone are since they don't take the turning stresses that the fronts do they won't split, however the rear's will develop a little end play from time to time and should be kept after. If they start to feel loose they are and should be replaced asap.
