Default Front lower ball joint boots

Anyone have any idea where I can get a set for my 97 Prelude VTEC, other than the dealer?

Thanks,
Dave

i just replaced mine on my '96 (i tore them up upgrading my suspension). i bought universal replacements from Help! products at the local Murrays. however, you will need to measure the diameter of the b/j shaft. you'll have to separate them to do this or you can be sneaky and order a new ball joint assembly and measure the shaft (sneaky but not immoral, it didnt cost them any money-it helps to have a friend that works there!)
i would also completely remove all of the grease currently on the b/j, clean it up and re-grease, to be sure you don't have any dirt in there. also, be sure the new boots fit snugly. if not, they'll allow dirt and debris to contaminate the grease, thus destroying the ball joints (but you probably know this, hence your question!).
hope this helps you.

Isn't this a Recall?

Thanks for all the helpful info...www.hondaautomotiveparts.com is just the kind of site I was looking for. My Prelude is a base model and the recall applies to the SH model, but thanks for the info...actually I bought a totaled Prelude for the drive train and suspension, so I don't have anything to drive to the dealer for a recall claim I'm building a mid-engine RWD 94 Integra with the H22A4 and suspension with 97 Prelude knuckles on the front for 5 lugs at all 4 corners. I plan to start a thread here with pics of the project. Any suggestion on where to start the thread?

Thanks Again!
