They both work great. If I were you, I would go with the one your closest tuner is most familiar and knowledgeable with.

not trying to stael your thread...but i had a dumb question for the aem user out there....something that for some reason i just dont understand...im thinkin of gois standalone and want either the f.a.s.t, or the aem ems....my question is best asked in a scenario type.....say im driving around town at 10 psi and i want to go to 15 psi.....will i have to go into the laptop to change maps or will the aem just adjust for the additional boost.....the only reason i ask is cause i like to **** around with lots of different boost levels when needed.....any replies would be most appreciated....thanks

Ace, why don't you talk to inline pro and see what they say? You do a lot of business with them they should be able to help you out. Otherwise talk to Steve Sakai and have him hook you up with Hondata.

It's all in the maps already when your tuned, all you do is hit your boost controller. Hondata operates the same and will work just as well if not better

thanks for the response....let me clarify what your sdaying cause im kinda slow....so if im driving around at 10 psi....change the boost on my hks boost controller to 17 psi, the aem will automatically adjust the fuel and timing tables to match the increased airflow?....if so, i guess i better order one tonight....thanks again

If you are not going to tune it yourself then opt for the s100b because it's simple, compact, and works the same as the more expensive s200.

Options are up to you, whatever you want.

Neither one will automatically adjust like magic. Different parts of the map=different psi(load). As long as that part of the map is tuned then your all good. Make sure you get it tuned to you max boost level and then you can turn it up and down all you want.

Oh yea, my vote goes out to the AEM if you want to learn and mess around w/ it especially if you are obd2. The AEM has many more features but if you gonna just have it tuned and never touch it again the hondata will work just fine. I have the AEM and love it. I would never go w/ anything else.

If it is tuned properly you can't go wrong with AEM on a boosted Honda.

The AEM EMS's infinitely adjustable software allows tuners to program virtually any combination of engine control, power adders and auxiliary devices, and accurately deliver proper amounts of fuel and correct ignition timing for ANY boost level or operating condition.

There are a lot of people out there buying them (who don't know what they are doing) and after they buy it try to tune it themselves or let some other unqualified person tune it and don't get it to work properly.

Make sure you let some one who has had success with the AEM EMS tune it.

The AEM PnP along with AEM O2 and injectors with proper tuning will make your car crank, idle, and drive like a factory car even with AC and all accessories. Also if tuned properly your car should pull hard and smooth under boost!!

AEM... For more options than Hondata and a better UI. If you are gonna get it tuned by a shop and don't care about the extra features the AEM has, then go with either one. They are both great systems. It's personal preference and your desire to tweak things and use cool features like traction control in the end that will decide what system id best for you.

Ive heard nothin but good things about the AEM, thats wat im saving for, that bastard is rather pricey. But my friend has the same setup as me and he's already payed for dyno time So i can just burn his maps on a cd and load em on my AEM and save hella $ on dyno time
