just made a set, did 1in for the front and 2in for the rear and it rides amazingly better.. doesn't bottom out and bounce anymore and it extends life of my agx's too

Then you took it to the weakest welder ever. haha Even if the welds came off, its only on the shock not the spring, your car would just get really bouncy all of a sudden.

Re-bringing this thread back.
Can I bring the extended top hats to an exhaust/muffler shop to have them weld it? Is that a good/strong enough weld or do I need to bring it to a hardcore machine shop welding place?

Did anyone save the pictures from the drop-fork DIY method? I wanna try this with extended top hats JUST to be safe.
