Default Accidents with the type-s

So far there have been over 10 accidents in my area alone with the type-s ..

INCLUDING ME

and they aren't small accidents, these are the types of accidents that total the car. I flipped mine

My boyfriend and I were discussing why... we're assuming it's basically because 'too much power not enough control' .. not only are most of the type-s' owned by new drivers, but we noticed the stock suspension wasn't as tight as it should be.. and a couple other things i forgot. But it's little things like that all combined together.

so:

FOR NEW MANUAL DRIVERS, BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CAR!!

and poeple wanted the type R here, hehe .. When I was in TX getting my clutch installed, I saw 3 blown RSX motors in the Acura Dealership. The guys that worked there laughed, they say these young kids are just killing these Motors and causing accidents too.

You got a good point .. See you at the meet.

Same thing here!! Everytime I go by my Acura dealership, there are always atleast 2 RSX's that need a new motor. If not that, then an RSX waiting to be picked up by the insurance company cuz it was written off. The last write off I saw was a new, white Type S which was purchased by some Stunna. Anyways, within 2 weeks of him picking up the car he got T-Boned by a van cuz he ran a stop sign at a 2 way stop. The funny thing is that my mechanic told me in advance, he is going to wreak that car soon... When he picked it up from the dealership the first day the guy was flying up and down busy streets.. KEEP IT ON THE TRACK!!!!!!!!

Honestly, don't even try to blame "little problems with the cars suspension". No modern car company would release a car that would flip easily. The driver must do something very harsh and stupid to flip a car. It's not the fault of the RSX.

I flipped my 2000 LS a few years back cuz a deer walked up on the highway at night and I tried dodging it. Anyone ever have any experiences with stuff like that??

The deer just casually walked across the road while I was flipping. I heard horror stories of people with cars hitting those bigass deers head on and getting smote because it goes right thru your winshield and crushes you

If high power combined with crappy suspension was the cause, you'd have a lot of totalled Lincons and Mercedes.

Driver Error is the key. Don't blame your mistakes on your car.

Stunna + fast cars = higer % rate for accidents
therefore we all pay the price with high insurance payments

Word to that.

I think people just need to learn how to drive. Or maybe someone should invent a car that can land on its wheels... but alas, people will probably blame it on something else.

Heh... blaming it on the car...

Please go to a driving school and slow down on public roads. Granted L.I. pkwy sees some serious speeds at night, there's no reason why you should've gone that fast.

When you got hit from behind you should have known what to do to avoid the car from swapping ends... give more gas.

dang ...getting hit from behind while going that fast must have been horrible ..you should be glad you were going 85-90 .. cause to get hit from behind liek that ...the guy/girl who hit you must have been going at least 100 mph or more ....if you were going 60-70 ....that would have been much worse

glad to hear your safe at least ....
