Default V band adaptors for t3 style turbos and downpipe pics

Full Race will be offering 4 bolt and 5 bolt flanges for t3 turbos to v band adpators. This means that if you want to take the downpipe off of your turbo you no longer have to fiddle with 4 or 5 rusty as hell really really weak studs that will break, seize, snap round etc. Just remove one nut from the v band clamp and you are free. The downpipes will be available for the kits, for an extra 150$ and the v band clamp adaptor kit is 160$. It seems steep, but its not. The prices are actually pretty low. We are now stocking 3" 304 stainless steel material ont he shelf as well as 3" stainless steel flexpipes for anyone interested in fabbing their own stuff up. now for pics.

And these clamps don't leak, huh? It seems almost impossible that metal to metal, simply clamped, would hold airtight..

v bands dont leak man, every t series turbo ive ever seen runs a v band which is every race car ive seen as well as about 80% of the turbodiesel big rigs on the road. v bands are a very sold, proven design. Also vbands are used sometimes to hold the turbine in place. Dont forget the fact that the exhaust doesnt have the pressures in it that a manifold has, so the leaks are that much more rare. Ive also seen v bands hold on wastegates, turbos etc.

yes it would be the flange with half the v band on it, and the other v band on the other side for welding to your downpipe. There will be a small section of 3" for welding. it will also come with the clamp.

so geoff, how much for a 3" down pipe with a turbonetics 5 bolt flange for a t4 or t3/t4? looking to purchase one shortly, but i would need one with a wastegate mount on the downpipe...my mani is like the vsracing style....but without the wastegate mount, which is actually on the downpipe...
thanks let me know and you'll have yourself an order

Just to let everyone know whos never used the V-band style, it makes life super easy. I run it on my race car for the downpipe and comes in really handy when swaping stuff super fast track side. It has no leaking issues...and I even use the HKS GT wastegate which uses the v-band style clamp to connect the wastegate to manifold which would be even more of a problem if it leaked there then on the down pipe. Its well worth it for function and it plain out looks bad ass as well. If you didnt tell most people, they would probably think you had a t-4 exhaust too because thats the most common way those are connected.

Just to clarify, these downpipes are ONLY for the full-race manifolds. I do not make downpipes for drag manifold, Vs/TRR, revhard/inlinepro etc.

you are own your own for those! Please do not ask for any of these downpipes. Thanks!
