SpeedFactory/JeffMerdich Stock Sleeves Kseries 864hp
Well Friday and Saturday SpeedFactory took three 67 mm cars to the dyno and mine was one of them. My conservative goal was 750hp so i was pleasantly surprised with my results.
A year and a half ago I traded my S2000 for my Midori EK. The car had originally been setup by Reid at Kaizenspeed and had a stock a2 with a basic 30r setup. We put it on e85 and ended up making 500/400 on the stock motor. drove it around for a few months until I spun a bearing then the transformation begun into what the car is now. I hope to be competitive in the 67mm classes offered on the WestCoast this season. Finances and healthy motor permitting the car will travel with SpeedFactory to all the WestCoast events they attend.
Before I list what the setup is I want to throw out that up until Thursday this was my daily driver and only car with a 40 minute commute to and from work, Needless to say I've already had alot of fun with this setup it made 539hp and 340ft/lbs on 13psi creeping to 19.
The Motor and setup was assembled and fabricated by SpeedFactory Tuning and Race Fabrication in University Place Washington.
Charge Pipes 3 inch Downpipe Dumptube was fabricated at the shop
aswell as the custom sidewinder.
Precision 46mm wastegate
Precision CEA t4 6765
Precision 825horse intercooler

BDL 70mm throttle body
Fuel system is a sumped tank with twin Bosch 044's
2 -8 lines off the tank to the pumps then y fitting into -10 to the rail
precision 1600cc injectors and an aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.
motor is

For all you local guys, Pacific Raceways & SpeedFactory Racing is putting on a new thing called Wicked Wednesdays, which is geared towards getting everyone to come out and have fun running their cars at a Test & Tune style night but without all the domestic Car Club Challenge and Jr. Dragsters hogging all the lanes and time.
You will be able to get lots of runs in on these nights!!! Please come out and support!

Good job dude, but I do not think you have a stock sleeves record, although you may. I know the guy that tuned my K series has tuned about 3 stock shortblock K series engines that all made over 800whp on stock rods, pistons, sleeves..........

It's a 68 ar t4, and to 13173 I'm assuming u were tuned by Chris treblic? He posted on k20a.org about the stock motor he has pushed the farthest and that was just over 800 I've looked around and haven't seen a higher graph but I would be happy to see one. its amazing what it can take. The fuel is pump E85 ethanol and yes it still does and will get driven around. Only difference is I bought a second car so I have a choice if i want to or not.
And Steve I'm crossing my fingers for a dry day! I'm itching to make some passes and hopefully the drive train will last me a pass or two, I figure thats all I get before they politely ask me to come back with a cage

I would really like to turbo mine and have been looking into a little here and there. Being the smart guy that I am, I quit my full time job during a recession to go back to school and finish my degree. I had military benefits, but just do not have the time nor want to spend the funds to really get involved with it right now. Plus, my stock engine runs pretty dang well for what it is. I would not be scared to say it is close to high 11's with the right slick and enough weight out of the car. Already runs 7's in the 1/8th shifting to 4th gear on 22" slicks and full weight. It is crazy the potential these engines have!! I hope you have good luck with your tranny too!!

Sweeeet! At 2400lbs. should be enough power to trap 165+ on a good pass and even more on a bad pass

Good luck with that. I'm impressed it survived the dyno session... ...lulz...
Good job though man, car is HELLA sweet. I'm a bit jealous if truth be told.
K series ****, that's what that is. Put me down as a backup driver for this car too. Just offering that yet again. That's the kind of thoughtful guy I am. Always looking out for the other guy.
<gets out pencil and proceeds to talk to himself>
I think I can pencil this in, right above Zol and right after... hmmm.... James I think.
I'm gonna be a busy guy on race day if about 5 guys I know get crippling diarrhea... ...you guys like Thai food?

Wow that car is sexy! Well over 800 on stock sleeves def needs to be a record. Cant wait to hear what this runs as long as the tranny holds up!
