My EJ6 build thread - 99civicB20V
Thanks to all my build followers and to everyone for their kind words. I am going to be restructuring my Photobucket account, and sorting all the pictures in to folders so I can actually access them on my phone. Right now it just loads forever and then gives me an error and closes.
IF YOU NEED OR WANT TO SEE ANY SPECIFIC PICS, PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE AND I WILL POST THE NEW LINK. THANKS!
Alright, I know I haven't been on HT long enough to get to know anyone, but I want to get this started before I get any further. As the car sits right now it's got a B20vtec w/ 99 Si head and trans, head has GS-R cams, full supertech valvetrain, S2 intake manifold, golden eagle fuel rail, ITR injectors, golden eagle intake gasket, no name headers and muffler, and muffler shop 2 1/2" exhaust (crush bends), black hasport mounts, golden eagle vtec kit, ARP head studs, and ARP rod bolts. Future upgrades are planned to build the block for boost and upgrade fuel supply/management. B20V turbo!! Yeah buddy!
As far as the rest of the car goes, it's sitting on a ground control / dropzone setup with 15" polished j-mags, and kumho ecsta ast 195/50s. NRG carbon hood and hood dampers, VIS carbon trunk, black housing headlights, V-HIDs 6000k hi/lo kit, NRG short hub, NRG 2.5 quick release, personal neo grinta steering wheel with green stitch, Alpine IVA-W505 double din dvd, KCA-400BT bluetooth adapter, PDX-1.1000 amp, and SWX-1243D subwoofer.
I'm sure there's more stuff I forgot, but I know lists get boring... here's some pics for your eyeholes...

Re: My EJ6 build thread - 99civicB20V
Next time we get together you need to let me snap some pics with my new camera... These do not even come close to doing this car justice. Also you left out all the badass security it has, as well as some sick *** 09 Si rear seats ;p.
Props for an OG style guy who builds his **** himself. Anxious to see what the future holds for this beast.

Thanks bro. Just snapped some pics with the phone real quick... here's some more I just put in the bucket...
And as far as the future goes... ARP wheel studs, EX front brake/ GSR rear disc swap, EBC red stuff pads/ raybestos rotors, and power door conversion. The security he mentioned... a nice fence, a dog real soon, a 12 gauge, a garage, autopage 915 and C3 cell phone module... so if you get past everything else, I can still gps track the car and find ya. Lol.
And when the car goes for paint... JDM Bomex mirrors.

Thanks Project H. Im new to HT but I've been driving behind an H badge for 10 years, and am in no way new to the scene. I just decided to come out of hiding. Lol.

I know where you're coming from. That's what all the security is for. Still, I know that stuff happens and the car won't always be in the garage...

Fortunately, yet unfortunately at the same time, this is my daily right now (funny how that works out, isn't it?) Hopefully picking up a new daily this next week so I can tear into the car a little better. I'm in the process of putting dynamat throughout the whole car, then SiR black carpet, dying the plastics black, and some front seats to match the 09 Si back seat that 99ssinoc sold me. More pics on the way, I promise.

Well, today I gutted the interior of the coupe, and put dynamat on the floor and trunk lid. Then I cut some home carpet padding for extra comfort and put in my SiR black carpet. The dynamat extreme was $140 for what I used so far, the padding was $25 at Lowe's and the SiR carpet was $80 on ebay and $85 shipping from Lithuania. Some pics of the progress:
I know it's dark and you can't really see the last pic but I'll get some more pics up when the interior is a little further along.

Going to check out some S2K seats in a little bit. Anybody know how to check if they're legit? Is there a VIN on them anywhere? I don't want to buy some hot shiz. What about RSX seats? Just wanted to know.
Also gonna try to hit up a salvage yard, so who knows what I might find??

Any seats will fit you just have to brainstorm on how your old brackets on your old seats are going to be mounted on the new ones. As for vin I don't think anyone even checks the seats for those numbers lol mainly the chassis.

Re: My EJ6 build thread - 99civicB20V
You'd be hard pressed to find some S2k seat copies. If they look like s2k seats they're most likely s2k seats.
If people are going to sell fake seats they'll make bride/recaro etc.

Re: My EJ6 build thread - 99civicB20V
Ok, so today was a good day. Drove to dallas to get some hawaiian food and figured while I was there I might as well go shopping. Lol. Ended up getting some nice things for the coupe today. One was planned, one was just a necessity, and the other was an impulse buy (dammit)...
Black AP1 S2000 seats: the planned purchase.
Russell stainless braided brake lines: the necessity.
And a Skunk2 black series oil cap: the impulse buy.
The guy who sold me the seats told me they were from a wrecked S2K, and he was willing to (and did) give me a bill of sale for them with his DL# and address/phone number on it, so that put my mind at ease. The guy I bought the seats from was one street away from the infamous Jotech, so I stopped in and picked up the other two parts.
Also ordered some more goodies while I was there, but that'll have to wait for another day...

Well, today I picked up another box of dynamat and traded wheels with another H-T member. The coupe is now sitting on some 16" bronze Konig Helium wheels. The 15" j-mags were just too small for my taste. Also busted out an axle swap on said member's hatch in about 20 minutes (to his disbelief) lol. Next steps for the car are: more dynamat, and brake upgrades. A couple pics for you real quick (I'll have better ones later).
