98-0708 Build Thread
Well i'm finally getting around to making my build thread. Decided to ditch the JRSC and go turbo. While i was piecing together my turbo kit figured i would repaint the engine bay, it needs it badly. Been working on it for a couple weeks now. Big thanks to my buddy jdm95 he has the expierence with body work and a welder. hope you enjoy it

Thanks for the comments. nothing to crazy in the engine bay. Gonna delete the abs, most likely do a inline fuel filter set up. Clean up some wiring. As for the turbo set up i'll be keeping the a/c & p/s. this is my dd.

Your bay looks almost identical to mine. What kind of power were you putting out with the JRSC setup? I see the MVM stepper, but what nose pulley is that and how much boost?

made 240 with a/c @10psi. when i had my 01 type r it was tuboed but i blew the engine then replaced the engine then the seals went in the turbo so at that point i ditched the turbo set up and stayed all motor then totalled the car. i picked up my current type r then i ran across a good deal on the jrsc so i had this set up for about a 1yr. just got tired of it costing so much to make power and i could easily make more power with the turbo and honestly just miss the fun i had with the turbo. too many people doubt how quick the little 4cyl turbo can be.
