so battery and or alternator fuse was good? check the battery wiring between the battery, alternator, starter etc unless you already have checked those wires

disconnect your battery firstly
then crack open the fuse box for any blown fuses
once you check them and replace any fuses
unbolt the fuse box and take a good look under it

^^^ okay I'll try that! I found no blown fuses under the dash or under the hood. But the tower fuses smell burnt but can't tell if there bad or not.

there is the main harness where you'd check for any burned wires
and explain tower fuses? the fuses that have windows ontop of them so you can see the fuse??? or are you referring to those black boxes in the fuse box? those are the relays

also, it would be wise to check for voltage at the fuses with the battery in of course, do this with a test light or voltmeter with the key in the ON not Start position, check for voltage at your fuses

Could the relays be the problem also?!

more importantly you need to find out where your getting power and where your not,
really the only way to figure that out is with a test light/voltmeter and or a service manual

Personally sounds like a fusible link or something between the battery and fuse panel, i agree with Linked start checking with test light, see where power is and isn't

Re: Car has no power nothing! Short circuit?
the 80 amp battery fuse (number 41 fuse) is RIGHT NEXT to the two thick screwed in wires
my fuse is blackish no color with the window
yours may have been replaced before so may not indicate the amp rating
its the BATTERY fuse

Okay thanks guys. I'll go pick up the fuse and hopefully that solves my question! Because they were absolute no power as soon as when the screw driver touched the bolt on the alternator!!

Get out a multimeter and look for where the power stops. No one is going to know how to solve this unless you trouble shoot with a multimeter.
