yes i parted out the car and sold everything after bending the crankshaft and trashing the block on the 3rd pass of the 1st event this season.
it was difficult to let it go but the fact of the matter is i simply cannot afford to rebuild and maintain the size of engine it takes to compete nowadays.
im sure you will see the car out again after the new owner gets it back together

Too bad, I did not get to drag revn9k's lame lying *** with a stock K20. I think it would have done it too, considering I drug other cars making more power than mine and his supposedly makes. Oh well, life goes on and more cars are to be had and built in the future. This time I will not spend 15 years messing with the Hondas, not saying that is a bad thing. I want to move on to something different when I decide to get that next project.

thanks everybody for the kind words. it was alot of fun but just became way to expensive to do on a sportsman budget.
the best days i can remember were back in the early 00's when you could throw something together in your backyard and be competitive w/ a small budget and a simple reliable setup. i miss those days of spending friday nights @ the local test n tunes not having to worry about putting x amount of passes on an angine
for me it has now become too expensive and most of the fun is gone. its time for me to move on, so i doubt i will ever put anything else together especially now my kids are almost 5 yrs. old and they keep me plenty busy and tons of fun
this thread title was a bit old and i did set the bar higher @ last years WCF 10.43 @ 131mph and have been 132 mph. so for you guys who are still gunning for me goodluck!!!

Goodluck to you Randy. I know it's very hard to try and even compete at the level cars are running at now and the economy isn't helping at all. If you don't have deep pockets nowadays it will be an uphill battle that no one really wants to extend themselves trying to climb. I definitely give you and rlz props from where you had taken the h series n/a platform. Perhaps in the future we will see things pick up and the economy starts moving again. Just got to keep the greedy *** people out of the white house.
