Re: Bisimoto CR-Z
Doubt it the crx name is dead with the 80's.The crz is the new crx with z being the last letter in the alphabet i think this is it.The last of the crx line end's here honda is going to keep making sport hybrid car's and the crz was the foot in the door.I think next after this will be a coupe of some sort and if honda was smart. They would exchange the motor for a bigger litter and maybe some sort of eco boost like ford is doing.

The stock CRZ rod bolts are frightening, indeed, for ultra performance!
I love it too! The cool thing with the CRZ is that safety is so paramount. On a hill, the CR-Z 6-speed manual which we are playing with includes the "hill start assist feature. When the driver releases the brake to depress the throttle pedal, "hill start assist" maintains brake pressure for about 1.5 seconds to prevent the CR-Z from unintentionally rolling backward until you are ready to move forward. The system releases brake pressure when engine torque increases, allowing a smooth and controllable move from rest.
Speaking of throttle bodies, here is a comparison of the stock CR-Z unit, versus the monster that is going on the project:
We have big plans for this car, to make the most powerful econo hybrid on planet earth!
Stock apature exists at a measly 50mm, while our new unit comes in at an air gulping 70mm!
We will retain the drive by wire capability, and the three eco modes with the CRZ as well.

After seeing the size of the TB you will be installing I am excited to see what the rest of the plans are. I have a feeling it is going to be awesome and all while keeping the 3 driving modes!

Will any of the go fast parts be compatible withe the GE8 Fit? It appears that the bore compression and stroke are identical b/w the two engines. Does the CRZ use the same L15a7 internal combustion engine? Have you cracked the ECU?

Re: Bisimoto CR-Z
out of curiosity, what type of non-engine related Mods would Bisimoto produce?
cus there's 2 things I'm getting right away if I buy this car and that's Lowering Springs and a Spoiler.
i haven't found lowering springs yet but the only spoiler i like that's out so far is the one from C-West:
