Hybrid technology is the wave of the future, and Bisimoto Engineering is at the forefront of parts development for gasoline-electric powerplants. Here is a vid of a baseline dyno test of a force depleted battery cell powerplant in the 2011 CRZ...the new CRZ is not available to the public or dealerships at this time but we were granted access to one early! With this in mind, keep checking back as we will be posting updates as we work on the vehicle more and more.
Cheers!

Re: Bisimoto CR-Z
Randy, what was the baseline that was put down with that CRZ with the depleted battery?
I'm assuming since the battery was depleted, no electric motor torque assistance?
Dyno charts if you have them please!

Re: Bisimoto CR-Z
This thing is cool though! But the back seats are scary LOL Definitely Asian sized!
Not gonna lie, it kind of makes me regret getting my Camry lol
Lol, I was surprised when I saw it yesterday. I headed back to the shop after I got off of Jury Duty and saw and was like WTF lol
It has some cool features though, like if you are at a light and just hold the brake and put it in neutral it will shut off, but when you clutch in and put it in gear it starts back up! So cool right!?
In either event I will keep you guys updated!
Cheers

Also shutting a car on and off like that puts a lot of wear on the engine no?

it's fine. the insight had this since 2000. causes no more wear since the engine is turned off. the car doesnt have a starter like you think.

Re: Bisimoto CR-Z
Turning it off is exactly what causes the wear, everytime you turn it off its has to dry start again. Not as bad as a dry start in the morning but im assuming its not to great for the engine

All honda hybrids ever made have the engine off/on at idle feature with no problems whatsoever..Thats why they continue to use it after 10years

Do it! We will have support for it
Im glad im not the only one who has seen the rear seats and thinks its outrageous!
I have to agree with ya, I mean they have been doing it right for a while plus I doubt most people will realize they have the function. I def have to say Honda Engieers: Doing it right!
