I've raced 8 of these actually couple top 10 finishers.

I've got 2 cars and looking for drivers for the Thunderhill raceway in Willows ca. May 7-9 YES MOTHERS DAY WEEKEND

THIS NOT A CRASH UP DERBY !!! SO don't contact me if your thinking to do that.

This race is a whole lot of wolves in sleeps clothing! we are doing 100-120 mph in crapcan cars !

This a way to go wheel to wheel and not spending all those days at trackdays and thousands and thousands of dollars and possibility wrecking your car.

So here is a quick summary .

Basically buy a $500 POS put in a rollcage ,seat and harness and race up to 24 hours
What could go wrong? UMM EVERYTHING!!!!

To get into this race you have to send inan application with your tory of why you should race and what crazy theme you and your car will be .

Then If accepted you go thru tech then you go to the BS judges and they know there ****.
So then you tell them how you got this car for $500 and then they will penalize you with penalty laps.But you can Bribe them with all sorts of thing IE beer exotic scotch,food ,potatoe guns,lap dance coupons,just about everything to your laps reduced.

Then Hopefully you don't get a black flag during race or your off to see the judges again.

Then they will do all sorts of crazy **** to you like
THE BART SIMPSON write on your car 100 times why you got flagflagged.

FRESH SCENT your whole team has to hang 50 air freshners in the car and then back on track
AL GORE POLLUTION VIOLATIONS( I got this one)
Get out of car put on tyedye shirt and gardening hat dig a whole plant a tree while TOFU was being thrown at me .

There is about 20 different things to be done by you.

Why do this what do you win .If you win the race $1500 in NICKLES yep nickles
If you have the best theme $1000 in nickles (I won that once ) Dressed my whole car and family like CALTRANS even had my 400 lb fat mexican nephew standing around with a shovel.
And you get an crazy trophy made of old car parts.

OH yea I forgot the best/worst part if you are a really big A hole your car gets destroyed YEP DEstroyed

SO to race you need safety gear Helmet SA2000 2 layer firesuit ,gloves ,booties,and neck support

I got the LEMON DEMOLITION CRX it has a mini me swap in it and a hydro trans and handles great 4' stacks out the hatch

My old car died last race rearended by another car .

So new car is a 94 coupe with d16z6

also both cars got 8lb flywheels

Love lemons. Did Buttonwillow last august in a 1983 280z, came in 19th overall / 3rd in class I think? :D
