Alright. But just some fyi... If you send me a pm during august-october, you wont get a reply. I'll be in texas for air force basic training. But keep up the good work on a great chassis that is totally under used.

Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
So after my cousin (SHG Beans) had 2 incedents with his dunlops (1 flat and another almost flat) I decided to put a spare back in the car.
We had this spare from our S2000 race car at the shop so I scooped that up and installed it with the OEM EP3 jack and took kit...
Mint mint mint!

No definitely not. The s2000 spare is just the right size and the trunk board lays perfectly flat over it. With a full size spare i wouldnt be able to run the OEM trunk board and it would suck lol. Gotta keep that trunk fully functional and OEM

Banners are finally sorted and mine is the first one to be done! Mikes and Laurens will hopefully be complete later this week
Im LOVING this look
.
.
Here is the original (top) graphic vs the revised (bottom)... we decided the first was too small and opted to enlarge it. Glad we did!
.
.
Also got the washers in today for my M6 stainless hardware
.
.
Popped it in a few key spots
.
.
And last but not least... did some intake testing today but more on that later... for now heres a quick sound clip

Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
Been a busy couple days putting in work on the car after the 9-5 job!
Spring perches got here the other day and I FINALLY got to install the rear FEEL's/Aragosta shocks. Theyre basically totally custom now, the only thing left from the originals are the pistons, lower mounts, and top hats. New bodies and valve stacks were made because the original parts are out dated and no longer in production for replacements.
.
.
Custom SHG Delrin lower bushings
.
.
Assembled with 1000lb springs
.
.
Then I threw it on the scales for a corner weight and alignment. I set the cross at 49.5% with driver weight (170lbs) to give the car a little tendency to oversteer in right turns over left turns since the tracks I will be running run counter clockwise. I was also able to get a 60/40 split while keeping the ride height were I wanted it from an appearance standpoint.

That alignment is boss! Its so cool that you can get such an solid weight distribution and the ride height still looks nice and even.

Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
So when you cross weigh the car the ride heights are obv different to adjust the weight on each wheel, so that will push and pull on the ends of the swaybar, making it act like a spring and throwing the reading off. Thats why race cars use adjustable endlinks so that the swaybar is never preloaded at static ride height.
Well, even though mine arent adjustable in the rear the swaybar isnt preloaded.... just worked out really well

Yeah dude I was so happy when it started coming together and I realized my ride heights for all 4 corners were within 1/8 inch! Also, something I was really surprised at was that theres no bind in the swaybars.

Thats crazy man, 1/8'' is nothing. I never thought about the swaybars being preloaded if the car is corner weighed or just has an uneven height but it makes a lot of sense. Very neat stub of info
I'm thinking of swapping around my coils what do you think?
They are 10K front and 6K rear so that they then become 6k front and 10k rear. That would somewhat compensate for my lack of a sway bar by having a tendency to oversteer IMO.

Very nice!! Whole suspension setup is too legit
Not sure on the banner on the car on its own, but I think it'll look great with all the cars lined up next to each other
Dont do this on an EG setup, just get an rsb and appropriate reinforcement if required
