do you not need to see the HU display or anything? Remote gonna work okay with it under the seat?

Guessing most control is gonna be done with the IPOD once driving. Looks good though. I like being able to see and reach the headunit or I would do something like this.

Great work, but what about when you want to listen to the radio? Or shut the HU off? Idk. You could have recessed the deck a bit in the dash and found a way to make a slider out of carbon to hide the radio when not in use...or when it's on the source you're using.

Nice work as always, though.

I really don't need use of the head unit at all honestly. I never listen to the radio, cause well let's face it, everything on radio is complete garbage lol. I only use my iPod and pandora. So everything I need control of can be done with either the iPod or remote (which works).

Sliding panel coul have worked but I would have been complicated delicate and not as clean as what I'm going to do. The main reason I did this was to achieve a look for the dash I've been envisioning. It's going to look pretty sick when its done

Yeah, theres the room thing too. Idk a sliding cover would just be over engineered in a way. Thanks for the replies guys!

Hoping to get some more done on the car tonight, Ill def have another update coming

If that's all to need it for than that works! A little sliding CF action would have been sweet, too. I can't wait to see what the dash looks like. Either way. Your work is great!

So Ive been spending time working on my 05 Type S manifold and cat in preparation for the Buddy Club exhaust here and there, and its finally ready to be installed

I decided to grind down the intrusive runner welds at the flange to create less turbulence in the manifold, and welded the outsides for strength.

.

.

Then I added a bung to the down pipe to measure air fuel ratio on the dyno, and also put some new bolts on the heat shield.

.

.

Ill leave you with a picture of the car in the new garage about to go back on jackstands
