WOW! i read through all 39 pages of this and it's freakin incredible. Your fab work is amazing, and love the use of POR on the wells, am looking to doing that on my fa5 thsi summer and maybe shedding a few pounds as well. also have one question, did you strip the wells to bare metal or just painted over the rust proof/silicone like stuff on there? thanks in advance and phenominal work man also subscribed and looking forward to updates

Thanks Sam!
Here are pictures of the final product!
Cut the threaded portion off the old bracket
.
.
Beveled the edges so I could fill the gap with a nice fat bead
.
.
Then welded it on. Notice that the threaded hole sits about 3/16" farther back than oem.
.
.
And ground the welds smooth then painted it.

Dam Evan you did some awesome work on the EH but wow you are really raising the bar on this one its great that you have learned how to weld......I myself have learned a bit as well I bought myself an ARC welder from harborfreight now that there is one near me.
So I have been doing and will be doing some more welding.
But none the less great work bud.
BTW: Gonna hit you up about corner weighing once my car is done.

A little update for you guys... Ive been working more on the rear suspension this weekend since Ive finally got some days off lol.
I got the bushings out of the rear knuckles, the top ones needed to be pressed out but the bottoms can be removed with this process. All you need is a threaded rods, some nuts, and some washers.
Step 1:
Step 2:
Done:
.
.
I also removed the firewall mat in the engine bay to clean things up a bit and give the firewall a nicer appearance.
.
.
Got some oem hardware that works with the new endlinks:
.
.
And ill leave you guys with a pretty awesome picture of the GF and I at our last party lol

Just to keep engine noise down. Theres also one on the inside of the firewall so I figured I could lose one.

Thanks for the words dude! I agree, the EG had alot of nice stuff on it but most of it was stuff that anyone could buy. Theres going to be alot more custom work on this car now that I have the skills and resources
LMK whenever youre ready to get weighed. It will be sick to have an EL come through the shop!

The hatch is coming slowly but surely, currently working on a few things in the engine bay. As for the Es1 i just picked up Bor Chuan 1pc dampers, and an HFP Aero front lip.
Ps i love the fabrication awesome work
