Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
So the suspension is all torn down now and the shocks are ready to be sent out for revalving. Im also working on getting all the parts for the new spring setup since Im going to change to 6" springs in the front Ill need to run helpers.
Here are the FEEL's/Arogosta dampers all taken down
.
.
I also got the Stoptech rotors resurfaced
.
.
A quick snap of the seat installed in the car .... looks too good
.
.
And a couple shots of the garage!
.
.
For anyone interested my freshly painted Type S calipers with Project Mu B-Force street pads and Hawk DTC-60 race pads are up for sale!

Those rail mounts look so kickass
Did you resurface the rotors at FOM? I've never seen a resurface have that pattern to it, cool

I had the machine shop do it. Since they're slotted you cant resurface them the traditional way, they need to be done on a Blanchard grinder.

I like the sticker honestly, I like to rep Buddy Club because they offer the best parts per dollar of any company. Ive never been dissapointed by a part of theirs.

Haha its going to be even cleaner after everything goes back in. Im sending all the suspension and brake hardware to get cadmium plated like the older hondas. The cadmium plating is much more durable that the new white zinc plating Honda started using in 2002.

didnt honda change up their bolt setup at after 2002 aswell?
like why my 2002 accord bolts look like complete crap.

Yeah, and all the bolts on those cars are the same way...
Here is White Zinc plating on the left and cadmium on the right
Hm, not sure. The hardware on my EP is very similar in appearance to the hardware on my GSR and EG, just with crappy coating.

Yeah dude! Thats was the first time I was looking to get an EP, then I kind of gave up on it but ended up selling the EG and buying this one from a dealership about a year and a half later. Made $500 bucks in the process haha.

Love the blog Evan, and the car is lookin' better and better. Do you still daily it? If so, are you still going to after the stiffer suspension set up?
