Actually, we got quite lucky and traded stock parts from the car for most of the stuff to rebuild the motor. There is only about 100 dollars invested in the engine re-build.

Going tomorrow to pick up the ***ENTIRE*** interior from an 01 gsr. Also going to grab the front bumper and the OEM headlights so we can sell the ebay ones!.

Got a great deal for all of it from timybilt for $400 bucks. Thanks a million for the hookup man!!

Can't wait to throw some paint on the car this week and get the new interior in

well ****. cant complain about only havin 100 bucks in rebuilding the motor then. thats not bad at all. i just know what most of that stuff costs from the dealership, its aint pretty on some of it lol.

and hell yeah, im ready to see some paint on this car too!

Got the interior picked up today!.. It's gross, but should clean up nice. It's from an 01 gsr and we got the entire thing including the steering column, seats, dash, door panels, carpet, plastics, etc.

Also got the front & rear bumper as well as the headlights off the gsr.

Then..... Finally got some sealer on the inside of the car



and maybe just a little paint on it



The paint is a custom mix made just for the car. It's nothing you can go buy, and we decided to not go with candy so we can re-spray panels in the event we'd ever need to, and for the cost effectiveness. The paint is pink/purple/red/orangeish all in one. It's amazing how many different colors it looks at different angles with lighting.

and one last teaser of the color with some clear on it

yeah, the outside will be the same color! finally got the 98-01 front/rear bumpers so now it's time to do the outside.

looks great, what would you gauge the difficulty level on actually stripping the car down and painting it inside and outside?

Took a friend and I about 2 hours to strip the inside completely down to nothing not working at a super crazy pace or anything.

Then i'd say about 4-6 hours dry icing and sanding interior.

An hour or so to paint it.

The re-assembly without messing up the fresh shine is the hard one
