I cut mine on December 31st, 2008 and have only gotten 5 trims since then. I've always had short hair, so it's the longest it's ever been right now. It's about 4 inches long right now, but I plan on keeping it until I can't deal with it any more.

I had my hair long 12 years ago. At first I thought it was really cool, but seriously, that shit takes to long to maintain. I chopped it.

Now, as an emerging old man, my hair has two colours....brown and grey. I'm starting to look like JJ Jameson from Spiderman and it's great. Chicks dig it...no lie.

No pics of my hair now, but this is where it's headed (no pun)

guys with long hair:
either it is too greasy, too unkempt, or they spend wayyy too much time on it and you can tell. There is no good in between. Leave long hair for the women.

I rocked the shag in highschool. My hair gets pretty thick and wavy, and I gotta say that it attracted a certain section of the female population.

I got sick of it, though. I usually just hit up the buzz cut every once in awhile. I'm not a regular haircut guy, so it'll go from really short, to kinda shaggy, then buzz it all off.

Though, I am thinking of growing my hair out so you can donate it to one of those cancer charities. Not sure if I have the balls to go that long, though.

Maybe you shouldn't feel too sorry if you see some swell girl getting married to them. They don't hurt anybody, most of them, and maybe they're secretly all terrific whistlers or something.
