Default Mavizen TTX02 electric racebike

Anyone at SEMA saw this?

I don't think Electric bikes will catch on. Personally I like to hear them roar past you.

I think it's beautiful... I think companies like this that are pushing the envelope are really admirable, specially if you take into account energy recovery systems that can prolong drive time and or boost output considerably

Yay...I can retire the earplugs. If they can get a decent distance and price, I'm game.

Amazing, someone managed to make green technology fun, I hope this catches on to open a new area of motorsports, I just saw their SEMA presentation and it talks about the details a bit, sounds like a great package.

Looks super fun, but definitely needs some kind of noisemaker.

now you're talking. Some decent speakers on it, and you could do a V twin one day, moto GP bike the next. Or blast out 'Eye of the tiger' on a twisty road!

Or a V12:

Just tie a couple of playing cards to fork and call it good.

Actually the combination of the electric engine and a dyno sounds quite cool, too bad you cant tell how much is the bike and how much is the dyno.

2:28 on the video, dude jumps the damn thing!

I wonder what they will cost and what type of power cell system they use? Also, I am a bit curious about the range.

At 1:30, "This will be an iPod on wheels..." Lol!! Kidding aside, looks like a great bike. I'd still prefer a bike with noise though. Part of motoring is hearing the engine scream near redline.

I've found that most gearheads that try electric vehicles are usually surprised at how much they like the silent running. Most compare it to a flying sensation. I think it would be a great experience.
