TSXs wiring harness is different, hence that's why when people with TSXs upgrates to K Pros they need to run dual ECU... you can only use some sensors off that K24 but not all.

Wow, way to do things the hard way. If you got kpro, you could use the ep3 harness, waterpump/ therastat housing and t/b for a rather easy install. Hondadata even have a map for this.

Thanks
Well I am happy to know that k-pro is the best solution. I guess then I will use the k-20's sensors, maybe I can get a bit of $ for it. While we are on the subject, what's the recommendations for handling sensors? Like avoid contact with ?* chemical. Storing or cleaning them? I will have a look on Hondata's site about the use of the tb. I wonder if the pedal / cable requires? To work. Anyways would have had it on except missing a motor mount. Arrived later then planned. I will try to film one funny ass back alley ghetto style engine swap. Gotta love the ghetto. You can get away with some crazy shit! I also wanted to know about the coils from the TSX are much better then mine. I wanted to use them. I can only assume they are the same. I wanted to know about opening these wire harnesses. Never done it. Other then that cosmetics are looking fine. Gonna put a few pics later. Thanks guys |

Did you get this engine off Eric in Allentown, PA?
Just finished my 08 TSX swap I can try to help ya with answers, but yeah you really should go with KPro + the EP3 wire harness. much simpler.

Yeah I think any other way is difficult.
You say you have the same set up? I would love to know how it feels and your comments on how drives and how it differs from the tiny loud ass k20a3. |

Yeah, its an 08 but same shit.
I am very pleased with the power (TORQUE!). Its a real night and day difference. Even at like partial throttle it feels stronger than the A3.

I have heard the stock EP3 header clears the sway bar ok on 02-03 EP3s. Not sure about 04-05 sway bars. But I used a DC Race Header so i don't know. The DC rattles against the sway bar on my car right now which is pretty annoying.

Well sorted it out by replacing the exhaust elastics by general use ones by cheaper rubber stiffer then the stock. Tire pressure is also a factor they must be the same. Otherwise they rattle more. But yes the elastics should do it. A 20 at Autozone should do it. I miss the Cali sun.

http://www.etoolcart.com/balljointseparatorotc6297.aspx get the spx tool, the cheaper ones are crap and they will brake.....It also works on the lower balljoint. The trick to suing them is you put a load one the tool, then smack the load side with a hammer....."POP"....joints apart.
