if you want to be able to see your a/f ratio at all times then you would need to leave it in if you dont care to monitor afr then you can swap back to narrowband, make sure to run the car in closed loop.
if you already own the wideband then run it. new sensors are just part of the game, ive never used aem but my plx has been going strong for over 2 years |

wideband sensors burn out faster just like any other o2 sensor when running leaded fuels. unleaded fuels it should last a long time. Ive got a 4 year old aem that i tune with that was in my car for two years and its only on its second sensor. and it works great. in comparison to my innovate lc-1 its .1 different reading. the innovate lc-1 is less than a year old
