With the economy as it is motorcycles are seen as toys and not transportation, its a buyers market. Also this is the worst time of year to sell bikes, people will be looking to buy in the spring. Looks like a nice bike, I'd say wait till spring and get a little more for it.

Might want to drop the mod list. It can make people think the bike has been run hard.
I imagine the weather on long island can make riding seem like a bad idea. |

Dont know how much ill ride it since ive had some scares and i dont love bikes enough to take the risk but it will look cool in the garage and if me and the old lady split up again (which is why i bought it) ill have the bike to score chicks on.

It's just the market. Like others have said, motorcycles are only seen as toys, not transportation. And with the riding season being the way it is on Long Island it's not like people are thinking about motorcycles this time of year.
Spring really is the time to sell, and if you sell in the winter it'll have to be for the price you're asking. In the spring you should be able to ask more like $4500, but it will still be tough if the market blows chowder. NADA says average retail is $5100. However, like you said, most people would rather have the RR over its banana-seated brethren. And at that price there's plenty more RRs to be had than there are F4is. It's just a more narrow market to appeal to. |

Your $4k price is fair for what you are selling, but like the others have said, it's the time of year and the market speaking. Most people would rather have a lightly scratched up 600RR of the same year for about the same price than a minty F4i. Post it on Craigslist, the WERA 13x forum, and as many places as you can think of if you really want it gone.

$4000 is a great price.
I sold my 2003 Honda F4i for $3500 in less than 8 hours. I had 12 buyers and the first person that came by my house bought it on the spot.

Its pretty nice, just not what alot of people are looking for... I would say if you wanna sell it soon, you gotta just drop the price. Like said before, its a buyers market now for bikes.

Tried selling mine for a while too, but the only interests seemed to be from stunters not casual riders, which slims down the market. And no one seems to appreciate mods, especially my ohlins shock

I remember looking at your bike, I probably would have bought it if you were willing to arrange shipping.

I would've bought it if you had been selling that around here when I was looking for a new bike a couple years back. GL.

Hold onto it. I've been trying to sell my friends clean f3 600 for a while. Gave up and the price is half of yours...taking into account yours is much newer and certainly worth 4k. I think if you wait till march and try to unload you can easily.
Where are you listing it for sale?
