Firsth thing Id do is a compression/leakdown test. From there if you get back a good reading then I would turbo it. Also give us a hp goal not a psi level.

should be alright but remember its not the amount of boost a motor will handle it all depends on what kind of power your planning on making. Boost means nothing we have threads like this every day its not how much boost a motor will hold its how much power tuned a motor will handle. untuned you could blow it on 3 lb's and i think the record on stock H series is deep in the 500hp range if im not mistaken. My buddy had a stock H in his car ran 10psi on a holeset HX35 hybrid made 308whp at 8 lbs on a dyno ran fine no problems until he up'd it to 18psi and he broke all his rings lands and it was tuned but a holeset is a lot different than a ebay 57 trim so ya

I would say 5-7 Psi tuned correctly will be fine . If thats under or around 280-300WHP
But the H22 Ring lands are known to be week and could break even at that . |

h22 record is over 500 whp.
its all in the tuning, and the condition of your motor pre-boost. good motor, good tuner, good power
